Does it break copyright law to use vintage images and photographs in altered art compositions?
I see people selling altered art of vintage photographs all the time and I am confused about the copyright law on this type of thing. I have some photos of vintage women from old magazines I have from 1900 and I want to incorporate these images into my own art. What about actual vintage photographs that you can buy at antique stores? How can those fall under copyright law?
I think you need permission from the family, however, if there’s no family around to dispute what you’re doing, I don’t see the problem. My dad use to own a photography studio and took many pictures of us kids. I went to have one enlarged and they said I have to have the photographer’s permission to enlarge. I laughed and said it was my father and he is now deceased. they still didn’t do it and I was P.O .to say the least. I finally got it enlarged with someone I knew. So, this may be something you really have to research.

What is a glass plate of shrimp called?
I have these small serving bowls that are commonly used for shrimp, with a surface in ice to keep cold shrimp. Wanted to know what they are called. Also, I wanted to know some suggestions would be for other uses unrelated fruit Tues. Is there something creative that no one else has done with them? Thanks
What I'm imagining in my mind dessert (ice cream) cups / glasses … with ruffled edges (tulip). Will these shrimp dishes have a problem (like a glass of wine?) Or flat-bottomed (like a small cup)? Basically, they serve dessert cups, but the restaurant is using a shrimp cocktail.

How I can use the popular media textile art?
I just bought a 2 oz bottle popular means of Textile Arts 2232. The instructions tell me that "Mix 2 parts medium to one part acrylic paint folkart." Does this mean that the bottle of ink every time I use, I have to add 2 bottles this means textiles? The relationship makes no sense. I wanted to ask before you try.
Yes, if the paint is in 2 oz bottles, or you can mix half a bottle of 1 / 2 ounces of paint, or 1 / 2 oz 1.4 oz average painting and so on. It is suggested that the mix of screen I'm thinking, but his can be mixed as whenever you like based on your project.
